Consultant Training

In 2002, the Foundation Ecology & Agriculture was mandated by the Federal Ministry for Agriculture (BMELV) to train organic farming consultants. Under the umbrella of the Federal Organic Farming Programme (Bundesprogramm Ökolandbau) more than 95 workshops and training sessions on a variety of topics were organised. Over 1450 consultants from virtually all consulting organisations participated. Since 2010 SÖL also offers training courses for the staff at organic inspection and certification agencies.
