Karl-Werner-Kieffer-Award
In memory of its founder Karl Werner Kieffer (1912 - 1995), the Foundation Ecology & Agriculture (SÖL) established the "Karl-Werner-Kieffer-Award". It recognizes people, organisations and projects that work towards the protection of our environment and the development of organic agriculture. Projects involving environmentally sound and resource efficient intermediate technologies applied to the area of ecology and organic farming are considered.
The award is endowed with 10.000 €.
